On September 22, 2025, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (Canada), the Canadian Institute for Arctic Security, the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and the Macdonald-Laurier Institute will hosted a Joint Arctic Security Conference in Whitehorse, Yukon.

This diverse gathering saw remarks from territorial and think-tank leaders, deep discussion with Yukon First Nations, federal agencies responsible for security and safety, Asia-Pacific views of the Arctic, the energy needs for the region, and one-on-one conversations between attendees.

The CIAS was honoured to be asked by KAS to help organize the conference in Whitehorse, and to develop programming with some of the most influential think-tanks in Canada.
